Chriddy

New Zealand-born and Australian-raised singer/songwriter Chris “Chriddy” Black took the country by storm following his audition on The Voice Australia 2019, which amassed more than 2 million views in its first month online. A musician from a young age, Chriddy’s upbringing in a musical household has undoubtedly inspired his passion to become an international artist. In 2017, Chriddy placed second in Usher’s Megastar competition and was invited to Los Angeles to perform at the Grand Finale, which was streamed globally to an audience of millions.
After losing his father at a young age, Chriddy has become an avid spokesman for mental health and says, “for me, there’s a direct correlation between performing, making a connection with the audience, and mental health. Everybody’s going through something, so let’s talk about it. Music allows me to do that, and I couldn’t be more thankful”.

“I’m excited to join Popstar Kidz in January as their guest mentor and have the chance to talk to the group about mental health and have some fun!”
